UFCW Local 911 Retirees
Club meets the second Tuesday of every month (except January
& February). Retirees from Locals 954, 626 and 911
are welcome. The meetings are held at the Local 911
Hall. The business meeting begins at 11:00 a.m.,
followed by a potluck; everyone brings a dish to pass.
After lunch, bingo is played. A 50-50 raffle is held
at each meeting also.
As a club we plan day
trips that sometimes include gambling casinos. We have
plans for some longer trips in the future. The Union
sponsors a Thanksgiving dinner for us and we have a great
time at our Christmas party each December - complete with a
gift exchange. At our July meeting we will be having a
picnic and we would like to invite all current and soon to
be retirees to this fun filled event!
Every retired member of
Local 911 is welcome to join, as well as their spouse.
Annual dues are $5.00,
with the first year being paid by Local 911.
