  Staff Attorney

I am a lifelong Toledo resident.  My wife of twenty-three years is Kathy and we have a son Mike and a daughter Julia.  I taught at Libbey High School from 1976-1987.  I was a member of the Toledo Federation of Teachers and walked a picket line during the 1978-1979 teachers' strike.

While teaching, I obtained my law degree from the University of Toledo in 1987.  I then went to work for a large Detroit, Michigan law firm representing corporations and large companies in labor and employment matters.  In 1990 my commute to Detroit ended when I took a position with the law firm of Gallon, Kalniz & Iorio.  My practice at Gallon, Kalniz & Iorio included personal injury law, labor and employment law.  Gallon, Kalniz & Iorio split into two firms - Gallon & Takacs and Kalniz, Iorio & Feldstein Co. LPA and I went to work for Kalniz, Iorio & Feldstein.

In 1996, I left KIF and since that time I have been practicing in the areas of personal injury and employment law.  I have represented both individuals and small businesses in areas ranging from sexual harassment to negotiating individual employment contracts.

I am licensed to practice in the states of Ohio and Michigan, and admitted to practice in federal court in Ohio and Michigan.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to represent UFCW Local 911 and its members.
